Week 2

Our Web Skills Teacher, Robert Elliot told us in our first week of this seminar: "Your weekly reflection on what you did, what you learned, and how you might apply the ideas in your teaching will give you a way of reinforcing the ideas from each week and of looking back through the course."

It has been only two weeks since then and I truly see the difference! Now that I review what we have seen in the last days, I can see things from another perspective. For instance,this week we were given the task to try different search engines in the web to look for information. I'm used to use Google, and I always tell my students to "google" for information. I have a list of search engines to put my "hands in" in the next days thanks to all my colleagues who posted them in the Nicenet.

Nicenet is another tool I'm getting fond of. Our community is getting strong and everybody is really collaborative, giving ideas, feedback and helping each other.

Week 1

Hello everybody!

I know, I'm creating my blog a little late, but I want to share wiht you that I live in Uruguay and we are here in holidays. I have a house 30 minutes from Punta del Este in a rustic place between hills and the sea. So, you will understand that's really hard to think about work and tasks... but here I am! and I will try to do my best in this course!
